Dear Fellow Readers,
Our next theme shall be Generations.
We are talking about blood ties, family, continuity, legacy.
I believe there are very interesting discussions about the impact of our ancestors on our lives, be it through education, deeds, or even inherited prejudice, and, as usual, books are great examples to start that conversation.
Some great classics do come to mind and I’m sure there are also many newer novels that explore similar themes - although I do believe there has been a change in how we treat the overall theme that warrants discussion by itself - if it shows up during our book club.
As always, join us for a nice afternoon - with a book or without. You’re welcome to come just for the discussion, especially if it’s your first time. And for those in the mood, we can grab a drink afterwards.
